Design systems for AI-built interfaces

Give the interface rules before the agent writes the screen.

Pixel Perfect turns a visual direction into named colours, type, spacing, layout and component instructions. The Design Bible explains the decisions. The Companion produces the files.

01 · The method

The problem is not a lack of prompts. It is a lack of decided visual rules.

When visual choices remain open, a coding agent often uses familiar defaults. Pixel Perfect records those choices before implementation and gives the result one source of truth.

01

Define

Choose a palette, a fixed font pairing and a layout that match the product. Name the role of every value instead of collecting unrelated styles.

02

Preview

See the system on a real interface composition before asking an agent to apply it across a project.

03

Export

Carry the same decisions into CSS variables, DESIGN.md, agent instructions, Tailwind configuration and design-token data.

04

Verify

Compare the rendered result with the declared system. A completed code task is not the same as a visually consistent interface.

02 · Clear boundary

Try the visual workflow before paying. The limits are stated plainly.

The public Companion contains a useful but restricted set. The paid file is delivered separately through Gumroad.

04 · Guard

A rule is useful only when the finished interface can be checked against it.

Guard Lite checks pasted CSS or HTML text against declared values. The analysis stays inside the browser.

Input
Your approved values and the code text you want to inspect.
Method
Five narrow checks covering colours, font families, font sizes, spacing and corner radius.
Output
Line-level findings with the declared value, the value found and a focused repair instruction.
Limit
It does not execute code, inspect a live website or prove complete accessibility and visual quality.

Stop asking the agent to invent the visual system while it writes the code.

Define the direction once. Reuse the same decisions on every screen.
